Lukas Is thrilled to be one of the 12 artists selected for the Liberty Specialist Markets 2024 Art Prize.

This fantastic programme is "designed to support emerging artists transitioning from art school to the commercial art world. 

Since 2018, we have supported the development of 49 artists. Our current cycle features 12 artists from The University of Brighton – School of Art, The Art Academy London, and Kingston School of Art.

The programme provides artists with the commercial skills needed to build a sustainable career, including development opportunities through mentoring, networking, and workshops covering topics like personal branding and gallery relationships. 

We offer three awards per cycle: a £3500 prize selected by Expert Judges, a £2500 prize voted by our employees and a £1500 prize chosen by our Broker community. Plus, the Artists taking part are paid to display their work in our London office.'

Lukas's paintings, 'Elodie' and 'Jakob' were selected to be displayed in the Liberty Specialist Markets head office in the walkie talkie building. Lukas first saw the paintings and met the other artists in the offices. The day finished with a group trip to Frieze London.
